About this course:

Art laboratories and museums are powerful places for learning about the world and ourselves. Intended for museum educators who work with, or are interested in working with young adults with developmental delays, Spreading the SPARK of Creativity, offers a flexible blueprint for developing an internship program that serves special needs populations.

Delivered in concise video tutorials, and supplemental materials, participants will be better able to:

• Implement successful strategies for creating internship opportunities for adults with developmental delays.
• Create a sustainable partnership model with a non-museum organization.
• Advocate for access and resources for adults with disabilities seeking employment in cultural institutions.
